Christopher F. Blodi, M.D., was born in Iowa.  He earned a medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis.  He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.  He received his fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Iowa where he held a full-time faculty position for six years before moving to Iowa Retina Consultants.

Todd W. Heilskov, M.D., M.B.A., a native Iowan, is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine.  He took his ophthalmology residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa and later earned an M.B.A. degree from the University of Iowa.

Christopher L. Haupert, M.D., was born and raised in Iowa City, where he graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.  He completed his ophthalmology residency training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident.  He took his fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
